DJI Inspire 2 Mavic Pro and Phantom 4 Pro 3rd Party App Issues all Fixed 

This week DJI have released a slew of updates for their craft, The Inspire 2, Phantom 4 Pro and Mavic Pro have all received both App and firmware updates that added new features and bug fixes.

The new firmware versions are 

Inspire 2 V01.0.0330

Phantom 4 Pro V01.03.0509

Mavic Pro V 01.03.0600

DJI Go 4 Has been updated to 

iOS 4.07

Android V4.06 

While DJI do not mention it in any of the release notes these updated also fixed the issues with the 3rd part apps such as Litchi and Autopilot that could possible cause erratic flight behaviour in certain modes.

Shortly after the released the App developers released statements to say it’s safe to use again these models with their app again. 

Among other changes brought this week are one is a new modes and changes. 

Fixed Wing Mode 

DJI Say 

The aircraft will fly forward automatically at a pre set speed after entering Fixed-Wing Mode. 

Push the left stick up to ascend and down to descend, push either stick left or right to rotate the aircraft. Pushing the right stick up will accelerate and pushing down will exit Fixed-Wing Mode.

In the DJI GO 4 app, tap the icon and enable Fixed-Wing Mode. Push the right stick up until the C1 icon appears, then press the C1 button on the remote controller to enter Fixed-Wing Mode. Push the right stick down for 3 seconds or press the C2 button on the remote controller to exit Fixed-Wing Mode.

Find My Drone 


DJI have added a feature that allows you to look at your drones last location and see if it’s in contact with the app.
