This updated model is fitted with new props and ESC’s that means DJI have been able to reduce noise by 4 dB or 60% when measured within 1m from the aircraft, these changes also mean they have been able to increase flight time to 30 minutes too.

As per the name DJI have also updated the colour and now has a new platinum body

While the rest of the craft remains unchanged its also been stated that DJI have changed the way the 60FPS 1080P mode works and the footage should not longer be affected by aliasing

Existing Mavic users are able to take advantage of this new prop design too as they are backwards compatibility meaning existing users are able to also see some benefits but not this the same level at the Platinum, the changes to the 1080P mode however is hardware and is not available on the existing craft sadly.

The new Mavic Pro Platinum is Priced at £1199/$1099 and is available to order now from DJI.
